How To Self-Diagnose
The symptoms of color blindness are easy to understand: the person will start having difficulty differentiating colors, or making mistakes in distinguishing colors. This can be identified during childhood. For example, the child may use the wrong colors for objects (verbally), or have problems depicting certain colors. But for those who seek a self diagnosis, there is a simple way, known as the "Ishihara Color Blindness Test". This test includes frames of a series of colored dots that are usually certain colors, which from a shape, number, or symbol. If one is color blind, most likely there will be certain frames in which they won't be able to distinguish what is being shown.
